Data we collect

When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email address, engagement preference, optional role-family notes, and message content. Server logs may record IP address and browser type for security. If you accept analytics cookies, we may collect anonymised usage statistics as described in our cookie notice.

Purpose and legal basis

We use enquiry data to respond to your request, prepare a scope outline, and keep records of correspondence. We process this information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, or for our legitimate interest in operating a professional practice in Hong Kong.

Retention

Enquiry records are kept for up to twenty-four months after the last meaningful contact, unless a longer period is required for an active engagement, legal claim, or accounting duty. Engagement working files follow the retention schedule in your engagement letter.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We may share data with email or hosting providers who process it on our instructions, or when required by Hong Kong law.

International transfers

If a processor stores data outside Hong Kong, we take steps appropriate under applicable law to protect the data, such as contractual safeguards with that provider.

Your rights

Subject to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and other applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of personal data we hold about you, and you may object to certain processing. Children

This site is directed at professional adults making hiring and analytics decisions. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
