Evidence from rooms that needed a clearer funnel

These notes come from talent leads and people partners who commissioned recruitment funnel dashboards or hiring analytics reviews with us.

“Daniel rebuilt our source table in a week. LinkedIn stopped appearing as six different channels. We cut one job board after seeing it produced applications but almost no offers.”

— People operations manager, logistics firm, Tsuen Wan

“The health check was blunt about our time-to-hire chart — it was mixing campus and experienced hire tracks. Useful, though I wish we had booked the dashboard commission in the same quarter; we lost a month arguing about definitions first.”

— Talent acquisition lead, financial services, Central

“Mira ran four weekly readouts after the funnel went live. Hiring managers stopped bringing their private spreadsheets. The meetings still run long when a senior role stalls, but the stall is visible now.”

— HR director, hospitality group recruiting for Kowloon properties

Extended project notes

Retail hiring surge — funnel rebuild in five weeks

A Kowloon retailer opened twelve store roles before Lunar New Year. Stage names differed between the district manager and the central talent desk. We mapped a shared funnel, built a dashboard from ninety days of ATS history, and facilitated the first two stand-ups. Offer acceptance rose after the team shortened manager-review SLA from ten days to five — a change they could finally see in the chart.

Agency mix review for a professional services partnership

Two agencies looked equally productive on application volume. The source mix study showed one agency’s candidates stalled after first interview at twice the rate of the other. The partnership kept both agencies but changed briefing quality for the weaker channel rather than cancelling the contract outright.
